Technology and a Raspberry Pi
Camp will be held during will be held the weeks of June 26 and July 10 from 9 AM to 12:30 PM.
Campers will learn how computers work through a series of hands-on activities starting from basic circuitry to using a programming language to control a circuit. Activities include creating your own computer game, experimenting with breadboards, and cracking secret messages using binary code. Learn how computers receive messages, translate messages into binary, and relay these messages elsewhere through outdoor games. Using Scratch, an educational programming language, campers will learn the foundations of computer coding to be able to control everyday electronics and program their own interactive stories, games, and animations.
