In this immersive exhibit, Dino-lovers of all ages will experience a time before the continents existed, bringing to life the 172-million-year reign of the dinosaurs. Through a multi-layered narrative, visitors will learn about the dispersion of dinosaurs during the splitting of Pangea. The exhibit features a variety of dinosaurs from various regions, such as the mighty Tyrannosaurus Rex of North America or the swift Velociraptor of the Gobi Desert. Visitors will experience the Age of Reptiles through:

  • Advanced Animatronics
  • Fossils
  • Authentic Casts
  • Cutting edge research
  • Immersive design elements

Young learners will also discover more about the geologic time scale, geology, geography, and climatology. This exhibit provides visitors the chance to experience the pre-historic era while also learning and enjoying the amazing story of the dinosaurs.

Sea Monsters: Prehistoric to Modern Day Predators

Also this summer, take a trip down to Discovery Cube’s Ocean Quest in Newport Beach to experience an all-new exhibit on creatures of the deep! From Herman Melville’s “Moby Dick” to Jules Verne’s “Twenty Thousand Leagues under the Sea,” the ocean has long been a subject of deep wonder and mystery. Today, the ocean remains a mysterious place for most of us, dark and frightening, with tales of sea monsters and leviathans lurking in the deep. Journey with us to the Sea Monsters: Prehistoric to Modern Day Ocean Predators exhibit as we explore the depths of the ocean in search of modern day sea monsters.
