BRIGHT FUTURES WORKSHOP
Join us for a free workshop designed for income eligible parents of children under six. This award-winning program will help parents to teach their children how to become school-ready, develop their complex language and reading skills in English and Spanish, understand number sense, and incorporate science-thinking skills.
During this one-hour, parent only workshop, parents also learn about Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards, as well as indicators of academic success for young learners. All workshops integrate children’s storybooks with hands-on activities. Participants receive their own copy of a storybook to add to their children’s library, a copy of the lesson plan, and some supplies to do the activities at home. Workshops are available in English and Spanish.
