Take the Eco-Challenge

Take the Eco Challenge this Spring Break

Small changes at home can make a BIG impact for our Earth. From March 24 through April 8, learn about becoming an environmental steward through a discovery tour and scavenger hunt of our first floor exhibits, including: Aquavator, Inspector Training Course, Helicopter Tours, the Planetary Research Station, Race-to-Zero Waste, and the Discovery Market! Once you’ve completed the Eco Challenge trek through Discovery Cube, head outside and build your very own solar powered boat to race against your friends and family.

Additional activities include a daily stage show: “It’s Easy Being Green,” Planetary Research Station presentations, and Environmental Engineering Stations where you will learn about sustainability and other related home upgrades.

Show us how you are a green superhero at home. Capture a photo and share it on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using #CubeEcoChallenge for your chance to win some awesome prizes!

Learn more about the contest here!

Plus, on April 21, join Discovery Cube at Highland Park Recreation Center for LA Sanitation’s Earth Day LA event! There will be lots of family activities, plus visit our booth to complete a scavenger hunt and earn tickets to the Cube!
